The free registration campaign in the Las Lomas neighborhood, in Piura, begins this November 22 and 23, with a visit to the human settlement of Buenos Aires, where the Cofopri brigades will seek to register 307 families from the same number of lots urban. From November 24 to 29, Cofopri will visit, for the same purpose, respectively 238 and 222 lots of the AH Juan Velasco Alvarado extension and the Miraflores extension.
In Paita district, 167 plots of stage II of Keiko Sofia human settlement will be visited on November 30.
The registration brigades will visit each family in the previously notified plots to collect the necessary documents that demonstrate ownership of the plot where they live.
Registration conditions
Cofopri specified that, to obtain a free title deed, “the essential condition is to present documents showing that they have occupied the land for one year on the date of registration”.

The registration will be carried out within the framework of the free national campaign “Plot registered for the desired title” thanks to the coordinated work between Cofopri and local governments, which has made it possible to formalize the lands of human settlements where any type of risk exists. been mitigated, according to a report from the municipality.
In this regard, Montes Boza highlighted that there are areas of mitigable risk in which Cofopri can intervene, provided that the risks identified in the risk analysis report published by local governments are corrected. In these cases, the population or municipality must take measures to mitigate the risks and the local government must publish a new report confirming that the risks have been mitigated.
